Yes. BakeOnyx works alongside your existing Square Terminal, Square Register, and Square Reader. You do not need to replace any hardware. Payments processed on your Square devices are tracked within BakeOnyx automatically.

How does pricing work with Square fees?+

Square charges 2.6% + 10 cents for in-person transactions and 2.9% + 30 cents for online payments in the US. BakeOnyx does not add any additional transaction fees. You pay Square directly for payment processing and BakeOnyx separately for bakery management.

Do I need Square for POS and BakeOnyx for management?+

Exactly. Square handles the payment processing and point-of-sale hardware, while BakeOnyx handles orders, recipes, inventory, production schedules, and customers. Together they give you a complete bakery operations system without duplicating work.

What Square products are compatible?+

BakeOnyx integrates with Square payments processing, including Square Terminal, Square Register, Square Reader, and Square Online checkout. Any payment processed through your Square account can be tracked within BakeOnyx.

Can I use both Stripe and Square?+
