Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?
Yes. BakeOnyx connects through the official WhatsApp Business API, which requires a WhatsApp Business account. If you do not have one yet, we walk you through the setup during onboarding.
Is there a per-message cost?
WhatsApp Business API charges a small per-conversation fee that varies by country. BakeOnyx does not add any markup. You pay only what Meta charges directly. Most bakeries spend less than $10/month.
Can customers reply to automated messages?
Yes. Every automated message opens a 24-hour conversation window. Customer replies appear in your BakeOnyx inbox so you can respond without leaving the dashboard.
What message templates are included?
BakeOnyx includes pre-approved templates for order confirmations, pickup reminders, delivery notifications, order-ready alerts, and payment receipts. You can also create custom templates.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business API or the regular app?
