BakeOnyx Adds Online Payments to Streamline Bakery Invoicing

GLOBAL, March 31, 2026 — BakeOnyx, an AI-powered bakery management platform, today announced the launch of online payments functionality, allowing bakery owners to accept payments directly through invoice emails via Stripe Connect and Square integrations.

The feature automatically embeds a "Pay Now" button in invoice emails when a baker has an active payment provider connected, eliminating the need for customers to navigate external payment portals or contact the bakery separately to complete transactions.

Bakery owners have long struggled with payment collection delays. Traditional invoicing workflows require customers to visit websites, write checks, or initiate bank transfers—creating friction that extends payment cycles and complicates cash flow management. The new online payments feature addresses this pain point by embedding payment options directly into the communication channel bakeries already use.

"We built this feature because we kept hearing the same challenge from bakery owners: customers want to pay, but the process is unnecessarily complicated," a BakeOnyx spokesperson said. "By integrating Stripe Connect and Square, we're removing barriers between the invoice and payment completion. It's about making it as easy as possible for customers to support the bakeries they love."

The integration is designed to work seamlessly within BakeOnyx's existing invoice management system. When a baker generates an invoice through the platform and has connected their Stripe or Square account, the system automatically includes payment processing in the email. Customers can pay immediately without leaving their inbox, and bakery owners receive instant payment confirmation within BakeOnyx.

"We were losing about two weeks on average between sending invoices and receiving payment," a bakery owner using the platform said. "Now customers can pay in seconds, and the money hits our account the next business day. It's changed how we manage cash flow for seasonal orders and custom cakes."

The feature launches with support for both Stripe Connect and Square, giving bakery owners flexibility in payment processor selection. Payments are automatically reconciled within BakeOnyx's accounting features, reducing manual data entry and improving financial visibility.

The online payments feature is available immediately to all BakeOnyx users with active Stripe or Square accounts. Bakeries without a connected payment provider can set one up directly through the BakeOnyx dashboard.
