Connect Your Clover POS
Sync your Clover till sales into BakeOnyx automatically, so your counter sales feed demand forecasting, production planning, and reports — no manual entry.
Connect Your Clover POS
If you ring up counter sales on a Clover till, BakeOnyx can pull those sales in automatically — so your real, day-to-day sales feed demand forecasting, production planning, and reports without any manual entry.
This is sales-data sync for planning, not order management. Till sales are high-volume, mostly anonymous walk-in transactions by product — exactly what your forecast needs to tell you how much to bake.
Before you start
- You are on the Growth or Scale plan.
- You are the bakery owner or a manager.
- You have a Clover account and POS device.
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Clover.
- Choose your region (North America incl. Canada, Europe, or Latin America).
- Click Connect Clover, install the BakeOnyx app from the Clover App Market, and approve the read-only access.
- You are redirected back and Clover shows as Connected.
- Ring up a test sale on your till and confirm it appears in BakeOnyx within about a minute.
On connect, BakeOnyx pulls roughly the last 90 days of sales so your forecast has history straight away.
Read-only — always
BakeOnyx only reads from Clover. It never changes orders, inventory, or anything else in your Clover account.
What syncs
- Each completed till sale becomes a BakeOnyx order tagged source = Clover, the moment it is paid.
- Anonymous walk-in sales are recorded without a customer — no fake contact is created.
- Line items become order items: items sold by the each are counted correctly even though Clover lists them one per unit, and items sold by weight keep their fractional quantity.
- The order total and tax map across, and a paid sale records a payment so the order shows as paid.
- A voided or deleted Clover order marks the BakeOnyx order cancelled.
Matching till items to your products
Un-matched till items come in as free text you can reconcile to your products later. Only matched items feed the demand forecast.
What does not sync
- No write-back to Clover.
- One Clover merchant per bakery.
- Refunds are not yet reversed automatically in this version.
Monitoring
The Clover settings page shows connection health — a 24-hour delivery rate, the last event received, and any recent errors — plus a Sync History list of every sale event (success, skipped, or failed).
Disconnecting
Disconnecting stops new sales from importing but keeps every sale already imported. You can reconnect the same merchant later.
Available on the Growth plan and above.
