Plan Around Holidays with the Occasions Tab

The Occasions tab shows the baking and food holidays coming up for your country — and turns any of them into a post, a calendar reminder, or a promotion in one tap. Growth and Scale plans.

What It Does

The Occasions tab answers the hardest question in bakery marketing: "what should I post or promote this month?" It shows the baking and food holidays coming up over the next few months — National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, Valentine's Day, your country's Thanksgiving, and dozens more — each with a ready-made idea for how a bakery can use it. Then it lets you act on any of them without leaving the page.

Occasions are grouped so the most useful ones lead: This week, Coming up, and Later this season.

Tailored to Your Country

The list is built for your bakery's country, so the dates are right for where you actually sell. A Canadian bakery sees Canadian Thanksgiving on its October date; a UK bakery sees Guy Fawkes Night; US-only days don't clutter the list for bakeries outside the US. Universal food-days (like National Cookie Day) show for everyone.

Your country comes from your bakery profile. If the dates look wrong for your region, check that your country is set correctly in Settings.

Four Ways to Use an Occasion

Every occasion card has four one-tap actions:

  • Generate post — the AI Social Studio Agent writes a caption + hashtags for that occasion and drops it into your Review queue. Review it, add a photo, approve, and it lands on your calendar. (Scale plan.)
  • Remind me — adds a placeholder to your content Calendar a couple of days before the occasion, so it never slips past you. (Growth and Scale.)
  • Copy idea — copies the ready-made promo/caption idea to your clipboard to paste anywhere.
  • Create special — jumps to Promo Codes so you can build an offer (a discount, a bundle) tied to the occasion.

A Simple Way to Work

  1. Open Content Studio → Occasions at the start of the week.
  2. Skim This week and Coming up and pick one or two occasions that fit your bakery.
  3. For the big ones (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas), tap Remind me 2–3 weeks out and open pre-orders early.
  4. For a quick win, tap Generate post, review the draft, and schedule it.

Tier and Access

  • Growth and Scale plans. Essentials and Trial bakeries see an upgrade card.
  • Generate post uses the AI agent and is Scale only; Remind me, Copy idea, and Create special work on Growth too.
